1 vehicle on fire when crews arrived
BOLINGBROOK, Ill. (WLS) -- Four people were injured, two critically, in a serious crash during the Monday morning rush hour in Bolingbrook, fire officials said.
Bolingbrook fire crews responded just before 7:40 a.m. to Boughton Road near Delaware Circle for a four-vehicle crash, officials said.
When crews arrived, one vehicle was on fire.
Fire crews were able to put the fire out, while treating the injured.

Two patients were taken to local hospitals in critical condition, and two remained stable, fire officials said.
It was not immediately clear what led up to the crash.
Boughton between Delaware Drive and Hywood Lane was closed in both directions after the crash, village officials said.
Village officials asked motorists to avoid the area, while police investigate.
Eastbound lanes had reopened by 11 a.m., and one westbound lane is open.
Bolingbrook police are investigating.
